After a break that seems like a season the Sea Dogs are back home after a near month long hiatus and also a near two (2) week break from their last game played.
The Dogs are looking to break their 13 game winless streak against the Titan. Both teams are fighting for the last playoff spot with Shawinigan.
The Sea Dogs welcome back half of their defence core from the World U17 Challenge and Josh Lawrence.
Hope that the 4 guys back will give a boost to the team and get them back on track.
Go Sea Dogs Go!!

Dawson Stairs making his debut Just saw this. Here is the info from the Sea Dogs:http://sjseadogs.com/article/sea-dogs-recall-forward-dawson-stairs Forward Dawson Stairs has been called up from South Kent Selects Academy. The 16-year-old native of Fredericton was ranked 26th overall going into the 2018 QMJHL Draft but was selected by the Sea Dogs in the 7th Round due to NCAA intentions. He has 45 points in 30 games this season at Selects Hockey Academy. “I have been waiting for this moment since the summer” said Stairs. “It’s amazing that it’s finally here. This is where I want to be. I have been working out and skating with the team and the coaching staff this week. Everyone has been great to me. It’s a big jump to play Major Junior for sure, but it’s exciting to be part of this young group and I want to win here.” Stairs will make his QMJHL debut tonight at Harbour Station against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan. He will also play in both home games this weekend, Friday against the Drummondville Voltigeurs and Saturday against the Sherbrooke Phoenix. Sea Dogs Head Coach Josh Dixon is looking forward to seeing Stairs play at this level. “Dawson has been waiting for this moment since he left in September. He showed up to camp ready to work and really impressed us with his skill. He’s had a great start to the season in South Kent and we’re excited to see what he can add to our lineup.”

I think as a call up you can get temporary permission.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him called back up over Christmas as well.

When the players came off the ice at the end of the game last night they were very much celebrating d'Orio. Was this his last game?

I hope he's given a proper send off when the time comes, even if it's with him in street clothes like it was with Veleno.

I hope he's given a proper send off when the time comes, even if it's with him in street clothes like it was with Veleno. Veleno wasn’t playing in the last home game before the trade period but he skated out in uniform to center ice for a ceremony before the game.
