It looks like they magically turned into the 16-17 cats...or the 17-18 Cats...

No excuse at all for losing two games in a row like that at home. Two losses? OK fine but a combined score of 16-3? Embarrassing.

Probably the most one sided game I have ever seen in the CHL (watched lots of OHL games ) , Looked to me like the wildcats were trying , Rumble is being out coached big time. Is the western conference that much stronger ? Or are the cats going through a bad stretch ? Drummondville has a good team, hard forcheck , Moncton started the second period with some good physical play but then got into penalty trouble . Hard to score goals when you can’t stay out of the box ! Moncton was trying to stretch passes all through the fist period , didn’t go to well . Moncton couldn’t counter Drummondville’s hard forecheck . Back in the day if you swapped goalies ( not their fault ) and your team didn’t get fired up then it was up to one of your tough guys to the the team going , didn’t happen tonight . Lots of work to be done

Hard to find positives from the last two games.
I liked the way Desnoyers was playing last night in the 3rd period after the game was out of reach. He was still trying. Pelletier was another one. Let's hope those two are not in trade talks.
One notable negative among many is that the Wildcats allowed two goals in each game while they were on the PP for a total of four goals. The special teams were minus 6 in the two games.

Drummondville, has a very good team, big, fast, I think it just shows we are not yet ready for the big show, certainly got out played badly, don't see where anyone could blame Rumble, we were just out matched.

The upcoming 3 game trip has 3 winnable game, I think if they go 2-1 or better, these two games were just a result of fatigue and a bump in the road, if they continue playing like last year's team, then there is reason for concern.

The Cats sure did not look like a first place team this weekend, more like a bottom feeder. What a horrible effort in both games. If anything maybe this will let RKI know that they are a long ways off from being a Memorial Cup Contender and not sell the top picks and young players for a minor upgrade here or there and think they can go for it.

To be honest, I didnèt chalk it up to lack of effort, we were out of sync defensively and there was much miscommunication on the ice. I didnèt see anybody not giving their best.
