I had said a few weeks back that I though Joe Veleno was somewhat over-rated and he has not lived up to the "exceptional player" tag he was given at 15. Well he certainly looked exceptional on Saturday night. He has now filled out his slim frame considerably and is a powerful skater. We did let him have his way against us with little resistance, but he was impressive.

We did let him have his way against us with little resistance, but he was impressive. Certainly agree here, looks like his taken his game to another level this weekend. I'd imagine they plan to put him on a line with Comtois. |
