In today’s Craig’s List, he has Pelletier up to #11 (highest ranked Q player) and Spence cracks the list at #49 ... Sportsnet also released a list today and has Pelletier at #20 ...

Great to see Spence starting to get more and more recognition for the draft. Very well deserved.

Today's Craig's list keeps Pelletier at 11, Spence at 51 I remember how disappointing it was when Moncton became the "winner's of the 3rd overall draft choice" in 2017.
Question for discussion given Pelletier's progression and assuming Lafreniere makes the NHL after next season and Pelletier doesn't. Would you rather have had 3 years of Lafreniere or 4 years of Pelletier?
Lafreniere is obviously the better player but its not as huge of a gap as it once was considered. having Pelletier for a 4th year gives Moncton a lot of flexibility that Rimouski may not have.

In a perfect world Pelletier is still in the Q at 19 and the Cats can trade him for a ransom after taking a run at next season. This is assuming they don't deal him as a future to land a major asset. I'm not exactly sure who that player would be. Spence will also be a top 19 year old defenseman that year so they are in an interesting position. Of course none of this matters if Irving still has control of the direction and tells the GM they can't sell.

Pelletier had a nice goal tonight in the prospect game. Didn't see the game though. How did he look out there? A good showing could help get him an invite to summer camp.

He looked good , played center ,back checked , played his position well wasn’t trying to show off , made a nice pass to an open winger that should have been a goal. But as always the tv crew played up the top players that always get mentioned , I heard them talk about lafrienere more then Pelletier ( who scored a beauty) and lafrienere isn’t there until next year. Ellis also played well in net for team Orr, including a big save when team Orr started their comeback in the third period.

Bob McKenzie has Pelletier at 31 on his mid-year list, top 80 players are ranked, and Spence is listed as an honourable mention.
For those who are unfamiliar, McKenzie's list is usually considered one of the betetr ones - his methodology is to poll 10 NHL scouts and provide the average ranking of the 10.
