The Dogs have a rare chance to make it three wins in a row as they host the Islanders in their last game of 2018. Denisov was outstanding in net yesterday before a nice crowd. Hoping for another good result today!
Expecting the same lineup as yesterday, though you’d have to think D’Orio gets the start. Denisov was very busy yesterday and with it being the hyped NYE game I can’t imagine going with Da Silva between the pipes.
Go Dogs Go!

Anyone else notice Burns, Burt, and Clark all benched for the third period.... I thought Burt was just out for a leisurely skate during both home games. I am not sure what problem Dixon had with the other 2 players....

Burt can be a good player when he wants to be but he can also be a bystander like he was this weekend. Dixon probably got tired of Clark taking penalties. Not sure why Burns would have been benched. Nothing stood out good or bad for Burns.

Was stuck at work and didn't catch the game today. Anyone want to give me a spark notes rundown of what I missed. I say Anthony Stella share the Prikryl penalty shot. Anything else good or bad?

Burt has been awful these last 2 games. Can't even receive a pass even if there is no one around him.

Nothing stood out good or bad for Burns. Definitely the penalties for Clark. That's the only time I notice him. Didn't realize Burns was benched. That's surprising. Must have been something he said because I don't think it was anything to do with his play.
