Like having Jim Mora saying again” playoffs, playoffs” during the 17 game losing streak. Still early but something positive to think about.

First 3-game winning streak of the season. Hopefully they can now win a game outside NB for the first time since 2017.

It was nice to get these wins and get us into a playoff spot.
What I have seen Since December is improved all around play by the team but the main things IMO it has been adding Gagne and both Euros have played a lot better. Plus we have been getting better goaltending and making less mistakes.
Or maybe we have been playing the same but we got a break in the schedule and played weaker teams.

Next little stretch will be interesting. No doubt they will get hammered in Drummondville. More interesting will be how do they rebound against Val d'Ore? Sure Val d'Ore will want to give them a beating too as they hold the Seadogs 1st rd pick. Rouyn will be another tough hit on their newly acquired self esteem. So, it would be great if they could minimal get 1 point out of these three games.

Optimistically, we win 1 of the next 3 and make the other 2 teams work for the W.

It just seems like a better structured team. They seem to be working harder on the puck. Not saying they weren't trying before. But I feel they actually have a good leadership group right now. Campoli getting the C was the best move. And having Gagne immediately come in with the A and embrace the role he was given I feel breathed new life into the team. Also I feel Cajkovic was genuinely pissed he got cut from the Junior team and came back to Saint John with something to prove. Also a little side note. I find Prikryl has stepped up a lot recently too. Watching games and highlights his play reminds me of Tomas Jurco when he was here. Just the sudden burst of speed and the puck seemingly on a string to his stick.

Gotta give praise to Denisov and Bouthillier. They both have been playing well.

I see no reason why we can't expect a win in Val D'Or. Not saying it's a guarantee but it's a very winnable game. The Dogs best them before when they were at their lowest point. They're at their highest point now (Drummondville game might change that a little) so I'm predicting a win.

If the Sea Dogs hold onto their playoff spot then they will almost certainly play either Drummondville or RN in the 1st round. This road trip could give an idea of how ugly that could get. If they want to have even the slightest chance of avoiding that then a win against VD is an absolute must.

I agree with everything you say. I'd also like to add that special teams, especially the PP, have been much better than what they were earlier in the year. Part of that could be the same reasons you mentioned why the overall team play has improved, but at the beginning of the year the PP was absolutely dreadful regardless of who the opponent was.
