The Sea Dogs take their modest winning streak to Drummondville tonight and face off against former Sea Dog Joe Veleno. This game will be a true test on how much they have improved as they face the heavily favoured home team.

Here's to hoping that we give them a run for their money

And the same goalie is still in the net ! It's not like Drummondville had 20 shots and 9 goals. He still made 53 saves on 62 shots. It's going to be a busy weekend for the goaltenders so I can see why he wasn't pulled

It's going to be a busy weekend for the goaltenders so I can see why he wasn't pulled I watched the game and I can't recall a single goal that I felt Zachary Bouthillier could have been faulted - they were all the result of fantastic plays by the Voltigeurs. This was one game where a powerhouse simply outplayed a rebuilding club from puck drop until they were up 9-0 ... yet, somehow, did so without being disrespectful of the Sea Dogs or the game itself. I hope that the kids use this game as a learning experience where they saw what effort and teamwork can bring. The Voltigeurs were first to the puck, moved it around quickly and went hard to the net. Drummondville's transition game last night was very impressive. I hope the Dogs bring their A game to Val-d'Or and get another win there.

A good coach would use that game in the film room. The Volts are a good team to watch to see how to get it done right. High tempo quick game and burn you on how quick they transition (much like the 2017 Dogs when Zboril or Chabot would force a turnover the offense was practically already at the opponents blue line). Also agree Bouthillier I thought was rock solid. Just the Volts were relentless with there offensive attack are very skilled.
