Jeremy McKenna has 40 goals. There's 9 games left in the season.
Will he reach 50?
Moncton has only had 2 50 goal scorers in franchise history. Sebastien Roger in 1997-1998 and Stephane Goulet in 2005-2006.

I’m saying no, not enough games left. I say he finishes with 44.

Nope ... 45-47 I figure. He might have a shot at 100 pts though.

After today's game he now needs 9 goals in 8 games. That's a tall order but there is still next year if he's back with the Wildcats as a 20 yr old.

Lets look at the numbers.
Mckenna has 41 goals, 45 assists, 86 points in 60 games. In February he has played 11 games, and has 9 goals, 5 asstsis and 14 pts in his last 11 games. At his February rate he should finish with 47-48 goals if he plays all games. Also, he should get 10-11 more points which could get him to 97 ... just short of 100. If he ups his point scoring and goal scoring rate over the final 8 games then maybe he gets to 100 pts, but doubtful.
Lets look at Jacob Pelletier.
Pelletier has 35 goals, 45 assists, 80 points in 57 games. In February he has played 11 games, and has 10 goals, 8 assists and 18 pts in his last 11 games. At his February rate he should finish with 42-43 goals if he plays all games. Also, he should get 13-14 more points which could get him to 94 ... short of 100. If he ups his point scoring and goal scoring rate over the final 8 games then maybe he gets to 100 pts, but doubtful.
But, Pelletier has been red hot and so can he catch and pass Mckenna ?
