We are coming down the stretch now and watching the conference standings to see where we might finish and who we match up with. We currently sit in 6th place, tied with Char and CB at 73 pts, but we have played one more game than they have. We are also interested in Chic, as they sit 4 pts behind us with a game in hand.
Wicky did this work on the CB board and I'll borrow it. Here are the final matchups for CB, Char and Mon.

I'll add in Chic since we are interested in what they are doing.

So, we sit in 6th and would currently line up with Rimouski. Rimouski looks to be solidly in 3rd and probably will not move up or down. If we can move up to 5th then we'd face Char or CB, if we drop to 7th then we face probably BC. I'd rather face CB over Charlottetown as we seem to play better against them ... but I'm very okay with facing Rimouski.
As we have seen from last year's playoffs and our two matchups this year, Rimouski is very skilled and rely heavily on that skill. They are not what I'd call a hard working team but still tough to play against. I think I'd rather sit in 6th and face Rimouski in Rd 1.
