The first? The top 6 has a combined 5 points Torchetti rode the top 7-8 players into the ground in round 1, now he has to count on the 4th line, not enough. with injuries he pretty much had no choice - but in tonights game Khovanov may have made a difference it was really anyone's game in the 3rd

Small sample size but Halifax certainly has to have the most attempted fights instigated per capita in the Q among their fans lol. Nothing better to do in Halifax, I guess. This is getting Ridiculous. Just take the L. None of the Halifax fans tried to start any fights with Moncton fans

I had a cigarette with a Oceanic fan during the intermission tonight. We had a nice conversation. Shook hands.

You aren't actually going to chirp Torchetti's coaching now.. Plus the 4th line played plenty in the Baie Comeau series and they played a ton last night. Not sure why the expectation should be that all 4 lines play 15 minutes each like its Timbits. I'd actually argue Baie Comeau played their top 9 way more than the Cats. Being tired is not the reason the Cats are down 3-0. It was really just as simple as they couldn't execute/buy a goal despite numerous chances and Halifax was opportunistic and took advantage of their opportunities. For as undisciplined as he is Khovanov was really missed last night. With McKenna neutralized & Pelletier not 100% there wasn't anyone that could find the open man like he can. The Cats could have won both of these last 2 games, you can nitpick a few things but Torchetti's coaching has been more than satisfactory from my perspective. He doesn't get to be blamed for the fact that they bought at the deadline that's for sure.

I've never seen shirts at sporting events that clearly say 'fuck other city". Usually they'll be something slightly more subtle like: MUCK FONCTONI went to a Bruins game when they hosted the Flyers. Street vendors had "Fuck the Flyer" shirts all over the street/tunnel leading up to the Garden.

You wear any visiting team jersey at a Philadelphia Eagles game and you will become a target of many people ... and probably beat up in the parking lot. Philadelphia and Oakland are particularly bad for stuff like that.

Except for the first period Moncton outplayed Halifax , just didn’t get the bounces that we needed, so far been impressed with torchetti’s coaching , this team with the injuries and suspensions has shown a lot of determination and adaptability. My first season as a season ticket holder has been quite an experience, off to an amazing start then big slump and then torchetti coming in and turning them team into a hard working , fun to watch team. Win or lose tonight I’m happy with this team and their effort this playoffs, looking forward to next season and curious to see what happens with the draft when torchetti get to actually have input on the players that Moncton can draft/ trade for.
Any thoughts on keeping # 4 Aleksi Anttalainen as an Overage next year , I know he takes two spots but been very impressed with his play so far, and with us losing some veteran defenceman we will have to trade to get an impact defenceman ?
Go Cats !

There was a Dallas fan sitting in front of me wearing a Cowboys Terrell Owens jersey. If u remember how Owens left Philadelphia, I thought the guy was nuts. They ribbed him the whole game but nothing serious. I thought it probably made a difference that these were the expensive seats and if the guy was sitting in the nose bleeds he may have had the stuffing knocked out of him. He was all in one piece when I saw him leaving. No reports of murders or beatings that night lol.

Go Cats ! Barring one of the 3 going pro the 3 20's should be McKenna, Cyr & Aspirot. I don't see any reason why McKenna should jump pro next season. He has some consistency issues he needs to work on, he should be a 120 pt/50 goal guy next season. If Anttalainen is going to stay in the Q there should be a spot for him on a team without 2 euro's. Teams could always use a top 4 D like him.
