It's a common pre-disposition that because the Mooseheads already have their ticket to the Memorial Cup, they won't have as much fire in them to continue their season. I believe their wish to prove to the country that they're worthy of hosting the tournament would counter that weigh of thinking. Halifax took Quebec lightly the first two games, and they weren't prepared to play in game 5. That isn't a good look for the team, and that and the sweep at the hands of the Islanders last year would make one believe that the Moose in general lack the will to success in the playoffs. I don't blame people for thinking that. Up to Halifax to prove people wrong. Moncton have two pretty good upsets under their belt with this group. They have the drive and the talent to succeed now. They can beat Halifax is the Moose slip back into their previous ways. They can also beat Halifax is Leclerc stands on his head and frustrates them like he did Baie-Comeau at times.

But you didn't answer my question. Good point. Moosetalk had 110+ viewing it after their game 5 loss, and 60+ viewing it after their game 7 victory. You can probably measure desperation on here with views and post counts.

Hopefully, Eastlink and Rogers can work together to pick up each other’s feeds. Rogers and Eastlink will share broadcast feeds for Round 2 so all games in the series will be on Rogers and Eastlink (as per Roger's facebook page). You can probably thank Cape Breton for that good to see the two working on a partnership to broadcast the meaningful games to both markets.... that's how it should work

Pelletier and McKenna have "star power"? Interesting. They are the 2 best forwards out of the 2 teams IMO. Maybe I'm underrating Asselin, but they both outscored him. Asselin got suspended, then injured.... You guys were opportunistic.... 1 round. Asselin was very good 6 rounds....

EastLink round two schedule: Excellent that Eastlink is partnering with Rogers to show the Halifax/Moncton series. But it's too bad they don't have the ability to show two games in two markets at the same time. Game 3 of the Moncton series has to be on tape delay. Good for Cape Breton fans though that a couple of their home games are on TV.

If I was Eastlink I'd put the CB game on tape delay and show the Moose game live. Think about it ... the CB game is in CB so 2500-4000 fans will be at the game, which leaves a much smaller viewing audience. The Moose game is a road game and so 10,000 + people will want to watch it, and most of them won't wait until 9:30 and will pay for the webcast feed. The viewing audience for the Moose game would probably be significantly greater. Isn't TV broadcasting about viewing numbers ? After Eastlink was blocked out of C200 I wouldn't give them any considerations, even though I completely understand why they were.

Definitely understand the viewership demographic that you're saying. Time for Eastlink 2, 3, 4, and 5 I guess.

Eastlink broadcast all the games from Charlottetown, bur CB would not allow them to broadcast their home games. Note the name of the Charlottetown rink.
