Any reports on the goaltenders? Any potential there?

I like the L’Heureux pick - best player available, key word being available ... they didn’t try to outsmart themselves and go after Reynolds or someone else who may not want to report. Am I the only one who thinks there isn’t too much to get excited about with the rest of our draft? Seems a bit underwhelming ...

Quick look too, on the Qmjhl draft sheet Keough was projected to go between the 6-8th round and we got him in the 11th #190. Thomassin was projected before 9-12 and we got him in the 14th at #244

Where do we see L’Hereux fitting on right away? Top 6?
I like that we drafted a guy that has high character and compete level.

I don’t know what it is but I’m not as optimistic about this draft as last year. Probably because they had less high picks this year but it also seemed that they just played it really safe, even in the later rounds where they could have taken more chances.

Probably because they had less high picks this year but it also seemed that they just played it really safe, even in the later rounds where they could have taken more chances. I have no issue with the pick given up for Rodrigue, but losing picks/prospects for Huntley Anttalainen Hebert and Giguere without having a contender is where it hurts at the draft. Keep your picks and invest the ice time in young players. It seems to be patchwork every year and they go into most drafts with not a lot of good picks...Top 5 rounds: No 1st rounder in 2014 or 2015 No 1st or 2nd in 2016 2017-6 picks in 1st 5 round, two 1sts but Bellamy(1st), Jacques(2nd) and Boulianne(5th) were traded away soon after. 2018-6 picks in 1st 5, Fournier(2nd) traded away. 2019-3 picks in 1st 5 rounds.

Just seen on Coach's Corner where the Wildcats drafted the young fella who has been front and center in raising money to help sick children in the Antigonish Area who need to go to Halifax for treatment .....Pretty Classy Moncton ....Well Done !

Okay so this may seem like a random question, but I need to know in my soul.
Moncton's jerseys, the ones from last year, does anyone own one? The stripes on the arms are tapered right? Like they're thicker on the outside of the sleeve than the inside, or am I crazy?
The new CCM Quicklite jerseys they debuted at the draft are ALMOST the same, but the stripes on the arm are definitely straight. The shoulder yolks look a bit shorter, as the wildcast guys pointed out, logos on the front, CCM and QMJHL are red, not blue, and the collar has changed, as well as the new CCM logo on the back of the neck.

will any of this year's draft picks crack the roster other than L'Heureux?

Am I the only one who thinks there isn’t too much to get excited about with the rest of our draft? Seems a bit underwhelming ... I wouldn't call it underwhelming. Pavan - 64th overall is a very good pick. He will play in the Q but will need another year of Midget AAA. Pilote - played the 1st half of the season on the same team as Wildcats prospect Francis Langlois so I got to watch him a few times and his size and mobility really stood out. He will need a full year of Midget AAA. Thomassin - I'll make a bold prediction. He will challenge for a roster spot in August. He will surprise a lot of people for a 14th round pick who played Quebec High School. Guys like Sheehan, Desrosiers, LeBlanc should be high picks in next weekend's MHL Draft. If they win a spot in Junior A as 16 year olds, that will help with their development.
