Yep but surprised Lavoie never went ahead of both of them . Same!! Shocked actually Wonder what the deal is Lavoie is a project player with some risk like Kaliev. He only really has potential to fit in as a top 6 guy at the NHL level and would not be an effective bottom 6 guy unless he changed his game around. The guys ahead of them (Pelletier, Poulin) play more of an NHL style game and have potential to translate either into top 6 or bottom 6 guys so there is no loss and less risk there Unless you are a standout scorer like Caulfield, NHL teams in the 1st round tend to lean towards players that have a more complete package and their games can translate quickly into the NHL level. I don't think Lavoie is the complete package (Yet)

Skill alone doesn’t survive at the nhl gotta battle. Unfortunately that can’t be taught . Will be an ahl/ ECHL guy

great job by Spence, what a pickup by Moncton, PP QB at 17 and he is good in his own end, and he looks like he is getting better !
