Anyone have any feedback on today’s game? I wouldn't read too much into today's results, especially since Charlottetown brought their B squad. I continue to be impressed by Dawson Stairs and Alex Drover. Charles Savoie really stood out again for me. Kale McCallum and Alex Belisle were very good as well. It seemed that Joshua Roy felt more comfortable with C-A Dumont - his teammate in Levis - along with Savoie or Belisle. It was especially nice to see the McCluskey brothers play well and connect for a lovely goal. I hope Connor Richard is OK. Hamel really caught him with his head down. I thought the hit warranted a penalty but I could be wrong there. Awesome, thank you for the insight.

So if I'm interpreting the other posts here correctly, it seems like we have 4 2-man combos: Lawrence-Guay, Burns-Cajkovic, Drover-Stairs, and MacIntosh-Jacob with 2 other spots certainly going to Roy and the 3rd 20. That would leave 4 spots left up front for everyone else (White, Belisle, O'Neill, Savoie, the FAs, and the other picks)

I would like to see them go out and get a good 19 or 20 year old veteran Q d-man to go with this group. DesRoches, Charlie Lehmus, Joona McCallum, Kale Poirier, Jérémie Villeneuve, William Kakouras, Nicolas Wynter, Alex Spadafore, Jordan Musico, Patrick etc etc Also going to be some tough decisions to be made in net as well. I think some promises were made to Savoie last year to give up his NCAA eligibility. Then you have Patenaude who has been brought over. Pace has looked good but I think he will probably be a victim of the numbers game. Dasilva and Bagnell have both looked good so far in camp but will have very little trade value at this point.

I heard some cuts were made. Don't want to incorrectly list any names so.....does anyone know who officially was cut today, if some cuts did indeed happen?

Disappointing to hear Sacha Roy won’t play hockey this year.

Disappointing to hear Sacha Roy won’t play hockey this year. It is disappointing to hear about a young man give up hockey at this point. However, I'm not sure Sacha Roy would have been a significant upgrade over either William Poirier and Nic Deakin-Poot - who appear to be in the battle for the third overage slot behind Nic Guay and Zachary Bouthillier. Jordan Spadafore is reputed to be a fairly tough customer who is willing to step up and challenge any others team's trouble maker(s). I'm sure, if needed, guys like James White and the overage forwards are willing to answer the bell as well. There may also be waiver wire claims and/or trades pending to fill a void in the toughness category - assuming the management team also sees that as a priority.

So, with Sasha Roy not reporting does that mean we’re getting any other compensation from Bac considering that this was already was compensation for the d’Orii trade?

Good question, we may see one of the Q's infamous draft choice in exchange for "no compensation" prior to the next draft. Or there may be some consideration given by Baie-Comeau as part of the next trade between the teams.

I put together what I think are the player remaining in Camp. I am counting 21 forwards but in the Sea Dogs release yesterday they said they had 20 forwards remaining in camp. I'm not sure who on my list shouldn't be there.
Goalies 1 MATHIAS SAVOIE 35 TOMMY DA SILVA 33 ZACHARY BOUTHILLIER 31 NOAH PATENAUDE Forwards 41 BEN BADALAMENTI 16 NICHOLAS DEAKIN-POOT 81 MAXIM CAJKOVIC 12 BRADY BURNS 19 JOSHUA ROY 73 JEREMIE JACOB 34 AIDEN MACINTOSH 43 JULIEN VANDER VOET 10 WILLIAM POIRIER 67 DAWSON STAIRS 14 ALEX DROVER 2 CONNOR RICHARD 29 CARSON GALLANT 32 CHARLES-ANTOINE DUMONT 36 RILEY BEZEAU NICOLAS GUAY 18 JOSH LAWRENCE 24 JAMES WHITE 38 ALEXIS BELISLE 15 CHARLES SAVOIE 42 ALEXANDRE O’NEILL Defense 58 CHARLIE DESROCHES 54 JEREMIE POIRIER 45 JORDAN SPADAFORE 49 ELLIOT ST-PIERRE 13 WILLIAM VILLENEUVE 22 KALE MCCALLUM 48 PATRICK MUSICO 6 NICOLAS KAKOURAS 7 JOONA LEHMUS 46 CONNOR MCCLUSKEY

So I expect a rookie filled lineup similar to the game in Moncton last Sunday.
