Wildcats Jersey/Logo concept

I was thinking of how I would do the wildcats brand and this kind of popped into my mind and I wanted to "put it on paper".

For some reason I've never really seen blue as a good color for the wildcats. It's a cool color and doesn't really exude the energy that I'd want. I liked the red, and liked the gold in the logo, but I know even some wildcats fans are sick of the logo. I wanted to add black, which, made me think of the 90's canucks uniforms.

closer look at the logo. It's not very clean since I didn't use vectors. I'm not good with Illustrator haha.

That would be very different from what they have now which is a good thing. Reminds me of the Owen Sound Platers.

I think I would like the logo more without the text of "Wildcats". I do really like the jersey design though.

Overall it's a much more "cool" look than the cartoon/childish vibe they currently give off. Thanks for sharing!
