Partly true and partly wrong as these 3 were only together for part of the season.... Of the 24 goals scored by Bartos, 18 were scored on the powerplay. Of Massé's 26 goals, 7 were on the power play and 19 at even strngth on shorthanded.

Nobody mentioned that Bartos would not be a loss. I simply added that his offensive output could possibly be matched or at least offset to some extent by Massé. The same goes for Beauregard. The thing you fail to acknowledge, is how much easier it'll be on opposing teams to shut down Perrault this year (in 5 on 5 situations), compared to last. Last year, you couldn't shut down his line by focusing on just Perrault, because he was surrounded by top end players. This year, teams can take a more aggressive focus on just shutting down Perrault. If they accomplish that, his line goes to shit. This year, he's got guys on his line who will need Perrault to be productive for them to be effective. That wasn't the case last year. You couldn't go into a game and say "Let's focus on Perrault, because he makes the offence go on that line" because he didn't. It was the entire unit. This year, he does make his line go. Svoboda was a man among boys on the ice tonight, every shift and he was playing with Mailloux and Faille........both he and Perreault should be hard to shut down.

That's the stupidest post in this thread. No it isn't. The first post has that all beaten. The first post of this thread was one of chsb's best posts ever......maybe you should actually read it........you might learn something.

One of his best still doesn't make it very good and there's very little I could learn from an armchair coach/GM wannbe.

Honestly, Svoboda's stats with Perreault should go up, and anybody else's should go up, and that may entirely account for the first line difference. Bathurst will need someone to step up on the second line, but there are a plethora of worthy candidates.

Titans, you guys are still in the League? I was sure that your team was relocating this year? Or was that for 2008-09? Had heard through the sourgrapevine that the Ville Dieppe was going to buy your team? Any word on that titan?

Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer.......... Perrealt/Bartos/Svoboda should be all 100 point players...... Clendenning/Masse/Messier could be around 70-80 points......after that probably nobody much over 50......

Hard to say...... I would say though that the Titan management is very serious about its will to get the best results possible with what they consider a mature team this season. Right now, I don't consider the goaltending a problem. Porkchop mentioned this morning that the Titan needed a top end D and a first liner. I generally concur with that since the situation of Bartos not showing up.
