Watched a bit of the second game, a period an a half with I'll probably try to finish tonight. Appart from the big names, I was quite impressed with McCallum's game, pairing along with Villeneuve. For an offensive dman, he did well defensively also. All of which is wraped up in poise. Impressive for a rookie.

I will say this - Saint John looked better than I expected them to. William Villeneuve looks like he's taken a huge step forward, same with Desroches, Bouthillier looks solid and there's 3 dangerous lines, Although I do think they could use another good winger. White had a pretty decent outing but, not sold on him playing up with Guay and Lawrence. As Roy, Drover and Stairs get comfortable in the league this offense should click along pretty well. Imo, the lines will change soon. Stairs appears to be headed towards a real shot on the Guay Lawrence line and I'd love to see Drover get a shot with Roy and Badalamenti. |

I've really been loving the play of Cajkovic. He's really brought a high level of effort/compete so far this year. If putting him on the PK had anything to do with that, great move.
If he keeps playing with this level of effort he's going to put up points, although I'm not sold on him and Brady Burns being on the same line. Something just feels off in the chemistry there, although maybe it's just the early season "rust".
