Here's a real question for you. I'm trying to talk the boys into an early summer trip to Sherbrooke to attend the 2020 QMJHL Midget draft. Currently you own the rights to THREE 1st round picks. I know it would depend on a variety of factors BUT.... In a perfect world, what would your plans be for those picks? Meaning are you hoping to trade all of them for established players that can have a more immediate impact? Or would you prefer to hang on to at least one of those picks and make a selection? aka. Not driving all the way there for nothing.

Is the team still looking at free agents that could brought in between now and Christmas? Most free agent signings happen between training camp and the start of the season in line with OHL teams finalizing their rosters. While we are past that window now, it's not completely out of the question, but becomes less likely. The last few seasons we've held an Ontario free agent camp which is where we first saw players like Ben Badalamenti this season and in previous years James White and Jordan Spadafore. We're happy with our team composition right now but we're always looking to improve. We have a lot of deep ties in other leagues and very strong agent relationships so if the opportunities arises and it makes sense then yes, we'd be open to adding a free agent. The locker room dynamic is similar to a big pot of soup, you have to make sure that when you're adding an ingredient you're adding the right one or you risk changing the flavour of the whole batch. Excuse the food analogy...I skipped lunch. (@leaskismyhero)

Hi Trevor, Can we bring back the big screen with the live 50/50 pot total? Best, Lenny Never had that one come up but we can certainly look into it. I know they have it around the building on smaller screens and it's shown on the Jumbotron periodically, not sure if these replaced the larger screen? Sorry, it was a little before my time - I'll look into it.

Would the team consider using a top 5 pick on Tristan Luneau with the risk that he doesn't report and we get the 5th pick in 2021?

Trevor what’s the plan with our goaltending situation? I know savoie signed last year and was an ncaa kid and Hes back playing midget? Any chance of us moving bouthillier and Da Silva? Also any thoughts on lowering adult season tickets ? As of now our plan is to keep Bouthillier and Patenaude. We think that Tommy and Mathias are better served playing lots and in important games versus backing up this season. We want to give them the best chance at success long term even if in the short term we know both of them would rather be here. As for tickets, our pricing for adult season tickets is arguably the cheapest in the Maritimes division. - Acadie-Bathurst offers adult early bird pricing that is $5 cheaper than our pricing but jumps to $540 for regular pricing.
- Halifax offers adult season tickets at $495 on a renewal if you sit in the upper bowl. The price jumps as you get into the lower bowl., onto the sides etc.
- Cape Breton, Charlottetown and Moncton adult season tickets are all more expensive.
With the addition of the Kids Pass add-on, Gemtec Family Pack, Costco Tickets, Birthday Packages, Flex Packages etc. we're trying to make it as affordable as possible for everyone to attend games. Trust us, we want the building full more than anyone.

We would be open minded to trading one of those picks for the right player that fits our timeline, but I would be shocked if we weren't picking twice in the first round.

If we thought he was the right player for us at that spot we would certainly look at taking him. Our depth of young talent and draft picks right now let's us take more of a risk than most teams.

Hey Guys, that looks like all the questions for now. We'll look at maybe doing this again sometime around the Christmas trade period. Thanks to everyone who posted questions and we look forward to seeing you in the rink soon!

As a draft junkie those are the words I wanted to hear. The 3-4 other suckers that will now be forced to make the trip with me might be wishing otherwise.

If you're feeling brave you should do this again before the Xmas trade period, so that us wannabe GMs can give you trade suggestions. Then do it again right after the trade window closes, so that we can tell you how badly you messed up.
