That was a better effort but they still had a 2nd period let down. Good outing for Lavalee. L'Heureux still racking up the points.

So far this year, Lavallee looks to have taken a big step forward(conditioning?). L’heureux has surpassed expectations for a 16 year old rookie. I was expecting a 45-50 point pace but he may surpass that. Spence has struggled early on and Desnoyers hasn’t taken a step forward yet…but for both, it’s still very early. among vets, Hudson is off to a slow start.

I still see Lavalee swimming around out there ... he'll actually do a 360 in his crease while on his knees ... scares the hell out of me sometimes. He'll learn with more coaching and playing time. Hopefully Torchetti got some confidence in him last night and will give him more starts ... 2 starts out of 5 is pretty good I guess ... that will give him 25 on the year. But we all know that when it comes down to the end of the season and we need wins to hold a standings position, he'll be glued to the bench.

The main thing for me is, he is moving well and being agressive, the rest you can coach. I like that JT is giving him minutes, hope it continues. Even if he struggles occasionally, no championship is won or lost in October.
