If Charlottetown sends in the video from that Spadafore crosscheck, he could be looking at a lengthy suspension

I’m at the game and never seen a cross check? He plowed one of the forwards from behind in front of the net

Sea Dogs aren’t going to win many when they allow 40 plus shots each game. Why they have a former forward coaching defence is beyond me....

Who thought it was a good idea to put a guy with 15 points last year on the top line?

And on top of that they five 17 year olds that need someone strong that played D helping them. They might get away with it if they had a veteran blue line. Not that they'd ever say so but in a way I sort of think the powers that be kinda viewed this year as a "see how it goes" or whatever. Its a year that while we should be improved, we never were likely to be contenders, and even playing .500 hockey was gonna be tough. Thus regarding stuff like coaching staff, or trading for a solid veteran D, were maybe not things they were sure they needed to do right away, so lets just see how it goes/wait and see was the approach taken. The problem with that is we have a lot of high end young talent. They need to grow and learn and develop. Not giving them the proper tools to do that with, and the right situations to be in, can really hurt that development. Thus while they may possibly think we can afford to wait and see, maybe they can't, or at least shouldn't.

I fully agree. Sure looks a lot like our last championship team did while Ross Yates was at the helm.
