Good game by the Cats. They appear to have tightened up defensively. McKenna had a decent first game, and L'Heureux looked fantastic...just the little things he does at such a young age. Cats D looked a bit slow, but that should change when Andersson is in the lineup. Andersson is going to provide alot of speed and skill from the backend. Rodrigue looked sharp when needed and the 3rd+4th lines did their job.
Cape Breton has a massive first line...man are those guys big. Cape Breton played a good road game and I could have seen it go either way. Sokolov and Francis looked real good for them, with many good plays.
Hope this momentum keeps building....this weekend has 2 big games coming up.

I was disappointed with Pelletier and Khovanov last night ... except for a few moments in the game they seemed to be just going through the motions. Khovanov embellished again and then later in the game the Refs just ignored everything that was done to him that were legit penalties. I find that is corrupt but he brings it upon himself. I'm not sure why Ozzie King (also embellished) is still on the 4th line as I think he and Foreman with Hudson would make a much stronger 3rd line. Daoust looks like he has a lot to bring but isn't bringing it yet. Rumsey is just getting his feet wet but does not deserve the 3rd line role over King.

Our big guns seemed ho hum, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt considering it's only October. I also agree that King has played himself on the 3rd line.

With Laferriere missing.... And? When Laffy and Gentile are in the lineup eagles top 9 is terrifyingly good. Both are injured right now. Cats should have won by a few, Mando wasn’t even playing lol..

All that really matters at this point is the season is getting the 2 points for the standings and the team building chemistry, improving on things etc. Having a pissing match about whos missing is pretty pointless when both of these teams likely add 2 or 3 pieces each at the deadline.
