The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced today that Val-d’Or Foreurs forward, Peyton Hoyt, has been suspended for seven (7) games for assault.
The rationale
The Val-d’Or player (#7 – Peyton Hoyt) was on the forecheck and had travelled a great distance without even worrying about the puck, since he was not able to play this one with his stick. He seemed to have only one intention on the play, that of hitting his opponent violently.
Although the Sea Dogs player (#21 – Kale McCallum) changed position a few seconds before contact was made, the offending player still has the responsibility to minimize the force of the impact.
Therefore, the QMJHL Department of Player Safety imposed a 7-game suspension to #7 Peyton Hoyt of the Val-d’Or Foreurs.

Wonder how switchback feels now. Glad he is not in charge if discipline How do you feel this morning? Your Titan with another loss in a season where some claimed they wouldn’t be bottom feeders. With no end in sight either.

With no end in sight either. Does that make you feel good? The fact is that the Titan played a very underwhelming game yesterday and still managed to bring a team that you were seeing emerging this season to a SO.... There is very little to gloat about that if I was you.

There is very little to gloat about that if I was you. There’s an excuse to be had every time the Titan lose, be it they’re underwhelming or got robbed by the refs. It’s an old story at this point. I was simply being an ass towards a poster that’s constantly be an ass to others. I was not gloating, I’m not a fan of any team, I really don’t care who wins or loses but when we have a consistent poster, that’s being a dink and making things difficult for people, I’m going to be a dink back. Especially when you know if the Titan won last night, that they’d be on here gloating about their victory and how the future is brighter for Bathurst then Saint John. As we saw in another thread, that same poster is taking shots at the refs because they have nothing better to do and can’t gloat about a win and are already growing upset with the Titan and their play. It’s the same old story, over and over, it’s predictable and easy to pinpoint the tone/posts based on how the Titan did in their previous game. To answer your question though, yeah it does make me feel good to be an ass and put a little salt in the wound of a guy that does it all the time and only tries to start shit with posters because they have nothing better to do. I want the Titan to be successful, I have no reason not too but when it’s evident that they aren’t going to be or going to be close for a little bit, yet people won’t accept that, it’s fun to poke.

There is very little to gloat about that if I was you. I've said it before, I'll say it again. With the amount of crap you two instigate, how arrogant you both are and how you're always showing up on other teams boards to take shots, It's hard NOT to cheer for the Titan to loose, simply because it makes you two upset. It really shouldn't be that way, I want the best for the team. But you two make it so hard.
