The visiting Mooseheads come back to TD Station to take on the Sea Dogs.
This is the third meeting of the year between the two and each team has won once. The Sea Dogs lost to the Phoenix on Wednesday and the Mooseheads are coming off a 5-4 overtime loss to the Moncton Wildcats last night.
Go Sea Dogs Go!!

Entertaining game. The Sea Dogs win 4-1.
Long time since we sent a game like that.
Bring on the Tigres.

While the Mooseheads looked a tad flat after last night's game against Moncton, that was the best full 60-minute effort by the Sea Dogs this season.
Both goalies made several impressive saves to keep the score low. Bouthillier bailed the Sea Dogs a few times in the first period especially.
Full credit to the Deakin-Poot/White/Gould line for back-to-back impressive defensive performances against two of the top lines in the QMJHL this season. To keep the Poulin/Robert/Voyer and Lavoie/Groulx/Trepanier lines off the scoresheet in consecutive games is very commendable.
I also like the line combinations with Stairs and Lawrence flanking Josh Roy as well as the Burns/Guay/Badalamenti line. I'm hopeful that Alex Drover will get a chance to play with Max Cajkovic once Max is back in the lineup.
Also, the defencemen have played much better in the past few games as well. I hope Will Villeneuve has learned a lesson after giving up a turnover at his own blue line in consecutive games. Otherwise, he has shown significant improvement this season.

Was just about to hit the thumbs up button until the last paragraph....Villeneuve can be counted on to at least once a game putting one right on to the tape of an opposing forward in the worst possible situation. He is always the last to the bench when making a change, coasting seems to be the only way he can make it to the gate, & he always defers to a teammate (even when he is the closest to the puck) to go back & get the puck or go into the corner on a shoot in. That boy needs to get the lazy out of his game...
