Best game by rodrigue as a cat so far. Huge saves on the sags 5 on 3. Anyone have video of the Pelletier hit? What a smash! Then scores 2 beauty breakaways minutes later. Sags looked lost defensively.

He kind of surprised Lapierre coming out of the box.

Lapierre never returned after the hit
What a shitshow from Maillet tonight. The roughing penalty on Cyr was one of the most laughable penalties I've ever seen.
That was the loudest I've heard Avenir so far this season which is awesome for a smaller thursday crowd. The game was physical from the start and I think that energized the building. Some questionable calls tends to get Moncton crowds a little more rowdy as well.
Pelletiers goal is one of the ones we'll look back at as one of the best goals this season. Amazing hand-eye. Not sure who he pointed to up in the suite side afterwards but I'm guessing Khovanov?
Cats are 6 home wins away from passing last years total of 17

Yup and Khovanov did his celebration back to him from the coaches box. When the captain does that, it tells me all I need to know about Khovanov. People were making shit up and saying he was a cancer blah blah blah are proven wrong IMO. Speaking of power play, it's hard to critique it since it's the 2nd best in the league but why do they rarely put Mckenna on his off wing? They insist on putting him in the middle of the ice but he gets easily shut down. If you had him playing off wing you could have Khovanov setting him up for one timers. Yesterday Khovanov made 2 beauty passes to Pelletier in that spot and he missed them both because he's a left handed shot. Mckenna has one of the best shots in the league and we aren't maximizing his opportunities. Well well well, Khovanov out of the lineup so they changed the PP a bit. Pelletier took Khovanov's spot and McKenna went to where he should be playing. Scored twice.

Cats are 6 home wins away from passing last years total of 17 It was a game that required a lot less penalties, the one on Stewart was not necessary either. I think on the play Cyr got roughing, even the hit was not a bad one, the Cats player was off balance and just shoved down.

The main point of contact was the head. Suspension? No suspension ... he just stepped into his path ... did not run at him ... no elbows, no targeting ... it is not really that impressive of a hit. Lapierre had his head down and ran into Pelletier.

Bad timing kris Draper was at the game lastnight scouting him.
