Yes he did. He said: If Que and Rim had both won by a lot, would he have said the same thing? His post actually made a lot of sense.........it's too early to judge, and the other guys had a much older team, as you have showed......mikeb's reply to him sounds along the lines of Billy trying to get some shit going and there was really no other reason than that......I've yet to see mike actually make a reply to him that wasn't trying to pick on him and it's getting kinda old. You mean like your deliberate shi* disturbing posts.

This is good for the Q, as far as recruiting prospects from USA. 1) it give the Q some publicity, which is pretty lacking in the states, 2) it shows that the level of hockey is truly high 3) US kids from the northeast know that it is hard, as a youngster, to make a USHL team. They do not scout in New England that much, and a lot of players go out there and do not stick. If they see 16 year olds on Q teams playing 19 year olds on USHL teams, and doing as well or better, that is a real plus! Good in what way ? The only way this was going to be good for the Q was if the Q teams destroyed the "U" teams. The Q has always been labeled as the stronger league and the best road to take to get to the pros. Now we see two U teams match up well against 2 Q teams ... one perhaps being considerably better ... and that does nothing for the Q's reputation. It doesn't matter that Esposito and a few others were away at training camps ... US kids making decisions won't be considering that ... they'll simply look at the result and decide that they can play in the US at an equivalent level to the Q ... and still hold onto their NCAA eligibility. I laugh at the comment about the USHL teams being loaded with 19 and 20 yr olds ... when in fact they simply put together a roster that would qualify for Q play ... 3 20's and so on. This was a bad idea for the Q ... playing training camp rosters vs teams of unknown skill level ... with what I consider to be a lot on the line. This series may have long term affects on Q teams abilities to attract american players. If I'm the father of kid and we live in the US ... and my kid is being courted by a Q team ... I'm going to tell him he is better off staying in the US to play hockey and maintain all of his options. He'll still get scouted and have just as good of a chance to get drafted if he is good enough. I think that perhaps one of the few advantages the Q has over the USHL ... and I'm just guessing ... is that perhaps we have better coaching staffs which makes it more of a hockey education than the USHL does ... and perhaps the Q should be advertising that difference if it is accurate.

Yeah, what happened at Rimouski? Did the goalie go on a bender the night before or something?
