As much as some criticized Will early this year, he just posted 3G, 8A in 11 GP in November with a +12 (only 1 game with a negative all month).

I've noticed a steady improvement in Will Villeneuve this season. Many fans may not have known that he finished last season battling back from mono. He still has lots of room for growth - notably his skating. But I still feel confident that he can continue to improve and could become a player similar to what Simon Bourque was.

First I will agree that he has potential and also agree that his skating needs work. In addition, I believe the coaching staff need to focus on him stopping the constant yelling for the puck with stick raised in the air constantly with no regard for the on ice situation. He also needs to stop constantly looking over his shoulder while assessing when and how he is going to bail out of any corner puck pursuit. Potential yes but a bit higher on himself than proven in play in my opinion.
