The Sea Dogs and Eagles meet up in Saint John tonight for game 1 in the Home and Home series. These two teams play again on Friday in Sydney.
This is the first time we have seen the Eagles in SJ this year. The Dogs are 1-2 against them with all games on the road.
Sounds like #88 Cajkovic is back in the Dogs line up. #25 Badalamenti may be out still. Not sure of the Eagles team (Sokolov) as of today.

The 2 Josh's Lawrence and Roy have been the teams top scorers over the past month after slow starts. Are they playing noticeably better and found their confidence? More Ice time after the coaching change? or is the puck just starting to go in the net for them? combo of the 3?

Strange that they would release White. They seemed pretty high on him, probably because of his size. He was used in a lot of situations and I'm not sure if he was ever a healthy scratch. I think a lot of us thought he was being overused at times (like when he started the season on the top line), but that doesn't mean he had no value. I've not heard of any attitude issues either.

I noticed Cajkovic benched for the 3rd period he was on the bench looking like a little baby who didn't get his own way. Kudos to Cowan for sitting him. Ill give him a couple of games to buy into what Cowan is trying to do if he doesnt buy in start making him a healthy scratch. Not the way to act when your playing for a contract.

Are you guys happy with Drover ? I thought we got hosed when the deal was made .....but now I am happy we did it .

Drover busts his tail off every shift. His confidence isn't high right now, but he's the first guy back, the guy working on the boards, and he makes a lot of dangerous situations offensively. |
