I suppose he has gone from the nhl to the Q once before but it’s my opinion that he’s a quality nhl head coach so I can’t see him coaching anywhere but the nhl at this point.
If there was some behind the scenes stuff we will find out soon enough I’m sure, nothing is safe in today’s world.

I suppose he has gone from the nhl to the Q once before but it’s my opinion that he’s a quality nhl head coach so I can’t see him coaching anywhere but the nhl at this point. If there was some behind the scenes stuff we will find out soon enough I’m sure, nothing is safe in today’s world. I don't think they'd fire both if there was something behind the scenes. I think they probably have somebody else coming in (hearing DeBoer) and he didn't want Kelly, and is probably bringing his own guy. Personally, I think he is one of the best. He shocked the hockey world in year 1 with Vegas and would actually like to see him in Montreal (hey his last name is Gallant) where they let him walk away as an Asst. All coaches are hired to be fired and you always wear out your welcome. Brian Kilreay and Scotty Bowman are the only ones that I can think of in recent time that don't fit that rule. Tommy Lasorda in LA also but the Dodgers probably should have fired him at some point. |
