The Gatineau Olympiques come into Saint John for their only visit of the season.
The Dogs lead the season series 1-0 after winning on the road 8-4 in December.
The Olympiques is one of the hotter teams in the league even with the league standing of 17th. Winners of 4 in a row and 9 of their last 10.
Go Sea Dogs Go!!!

They have been very hot lately, but haven't played any real good teams. Only mid size teams. they are better than their standing shows. Hope the boys will take them seriously and come hungry.

I guess in order to win you just have to score more goals than the opponent and that is what they did tonight lol

The weird thing is they scored all those goals and had all those power plays but did not score one power play goal.

Thats a nice little statement win last night. A lot of people were skeptical of the Cowan promotion but he has really done a nice job so far. Every forward had at least a point last night. The difference with Lawrence and Roy is night and day as they have a ton more confidence than under Dixon.
The East should really be SJ's for the taking next year is they continue progressing. The strength of conferences should really shift next year and benefit the Sea Dogs. Halifax already deep into the rebuild. Moncton, CB, Rimouski, Chicoutimi all heavy buyers and will be selling off talent that remains next year.

It was definitely nice to see the boys score double digit goals for the first time in 3 or 4 years. Not all the goals against were Patenaude's fault but I am sure he would like to have at least two of them back.

No problem scoring goals for sure. If the Sea Dogs can just figure out defence, they’ll definitely be a force to reckon with for the next couple of years!
