That’s correct. We will be getting at least 3 picks back from Halifax for L’Heureux. Hanging on to Pelletier & Spence is vital for the rebuild. Flip them at the next year’s Christmas trade period for a similar return (possibly more) as to what we paid for Groulx & McIsaac. So is anybody going to BC as part of the Fortier deal ? I've been told there is no futures going to B-C. The final price will be 3 2nd round picks. |

So is anybody going to BC as part of the Fortier deal ? I thought the rumour was that a few picks from the Halifax trade were being sent to BC once they got them back. I’ve heard the same rumour, a first pick will be send to BC. |

Reminds me of Cedric Pare mired on the fourth line of the Sea Dogs after the 16-17 deadline. Even an elite talent understands it's no insult to be on the 4th line of a championship contender, and his time will come.

Even an elite talent understands it's no insult to be on the 4th line of a championship contender, and his time will come. I agree completely with your second sentence about putting team goals ahead of your own interest when you have a chance to do something special as a team, But not the Pare piece. Cedric Pare was a 3rd-4th liner on any team that year. ZL would play on the 1st line on any team outside of the top 5 contending teams. |

It’s unfortunate he will likely put up those numbers in a Mooseheads jersey. So you hearing it is him and NOT Pelletier/Spence heading to the Moose at the draft? Or him and one of them? Or (yikes) all three? Well gladly take all 3, but the rumor is Pelletier and Spence. If you want to give us L'hereux and Spence that would be wonderful. |
