And that’s a wrap - no playoffs or Memorial Cup this year.

SJ is expected to acquire Inniss at the draft.
The lottery will determine if we draft a Luneau/Verreault or a Woodworth/Carruthers.
On the OA front, I'm okay with what we have, but we need to call and see what Ellis and Element would cost if we're doing things right.
Be interesting to see what happens with Reynolds, Orr, and Cliche.

Even though this wasn't going to be our year, it still sucks to have no champion. Much like every other team, it also sucks that we weren't able to honour the 3 overagers. Hopefully there's no delay next season. With the Q not having any American teams, it should be ready to start before the other leagues, but all 3 leagues will probably start up again at the same time.
It will be interesting to see how this impacts the hosting cycle. Will it still be OHL next year and QMJHL the following year? Would Kelowna have a team worthy of hosting next season if the CHL decides to award it to them?

It wouldn't be fair to the OHL teams at the right place in their contending cycle to not get to bid on 2021. Regardless of Kelowna team next year. And this year Kelowna struggled even with decent 19 & 20 year olds. Kelowna had a horrendous host year and this possibly saved them more embarrassment.
Sad Kelowna lost their host year. But taking it from the OHL in 2021 isnt the right move either.
Feel bad for a few great teams that will miss big opportunities. Ottawa with over 50 wins. Moncton and Chicoutimi. Rimouski and the last of Alexis Lafreniere
