Congratulations to Lukas on being added to the Hockey Canada Summer Development Camp. Of course, this year it is a virtual camp, but this is the summer camp for selecting Canada's entry for the World Junior tournament.

I'm really interested to see where he goes in the draft, whenever it happens. I can see him going anywhere from 15 to 50.

Was hoping to see his name called in round two was hoping by the habs with one of their 3 picks.... alas didn’t happen haven’t checked round 3 results yet

Was hoping to see his name called in round two was hoping by the habs with one of their 3 picks.... alas didn’t happen haven’t checked round 3 results yet 68th overall to Vegas edit: 67th actually since Phoenix did not get to pick at 49. Also noteworthy that he was selected ahead of the two Dmen from Saint John ... they have not gone yet that I have seen. |

For a guy his size he isn't super fast. Very Krug like. Poirier just went 72nd to Calgary, his lack of any defensive game slid him back. |

If he turns into a Krug I’m sure Vegas will be very happy
Why everyone has to try and be smarter than the rest of the room and compare players I will never know
He was ranked 34rh by the network scouts
He is off to a fantastic start
His slide was unexpected ... Vegas got a steal
