Watched the game from SJ. That is a hard working team we have. They have a little bit of offensive punch and with veteran goaltending they might make some noise. They may be fun to watch as they develop.
No Fortier tonight, but I doubt he has been traded. I can't see anybody making any big trades right now after what happened today in Quebec.

I doubt anybody gives up anything for Fortier before late Dec. If there is no AHL season or he sticks in the Q, then he could be a nice asset to move.

Too much uncertainty on actually completing this season. I don't think you'll see any big mortgage the future type deals this season. Of course you may see some conditional deals that would nullify a deal (or portion of it) if the season shuts down. I think a clause like that will be in every significant deal going into the future.

I think rather than getting a 3rd and 4th rounder as a down payment, they would rather have him around to help the young guys and provide leadership.

Who's the odd man out? Hudson? Very likely until Usnik arrives or Sheehan gets a start(they could call up another G).

Has anyone heard anything recently about the status of our European players?

Has anyone heard anything recently about the status of our European players? I guess RKI doesn't have the same connections as Pat Roy.

It's insane that the league is taking a "don't ask don't tell" approach to their teams bringing teenagers across international borders right now.
Every team should be playing on the same playing field in terms of getting their imports into the country.
This "X team has their Euro's" but "Y and Z teams have no idea about their Euro's" absolutely ruins any competitive balance the league is supposed to have on top of it being laughable to be so hands off and negligent about the whole process during during a global pandemic.
Pretty typical for how the league has operated though.
