29 including Tomasini. He’s in quarantine until Monday. So 2 more cuts coming today? With Dow out it would seem to be one more cut.

any word on Fortier ? I saw his name listed with the wildcats somewhere. He is not in camp yet. I expect we are trading him so perhaps he won't show up and can stay in Quebec. No sense doing 14 days quarentine if you don't have to. If there was any intention of him playing here this year then he'd be doing his 14 days now. But ... Ritchie Thebeau said he didn't have any further trade talks underway after the Dow trade. On the Dow trade, I'm wondering if it might be conditional on Dow making the team. If he makes the team perhaps we get more.

Fortier’s coming here to be be a “role model” to young players, then heading off to AHL in December if the AHL starts as planned.
Good situation for both Tampa and Moncton, it’s the Dan Lacroix connection with Julien Brisebois.

Unless they changed the rules for special circumstances, once he is assigned to Jr he can't be called up until his Jr. season is over. I was told that Tampa assigned him to Jr. If this wasn't the case then every team would have pro signed players back until December.

I don't think there is much chance of Dow making the team full-time, but I figure the Dow trade is conditional on him playing a certain number of games as an affiliate. I think they will eventually send Drapeau back to Quebec and in a normal year he would probably be 1st to be called up. I think they wanted to add a Maritime based affiliate that can be called up with ease if needed.

Hearing they cut Dimattia yesterday. He has been better than Sheehan and has better size. Hard to agree with that move.
