GDT - Game 1 Sea Dogs at Titan Oct 2

Well, finally here - the 2020/2021 hockey season. After the sudden ending to the 19/20 season and no playoffs, the Q starts back up, however it looks alot different that years gone by.

Games are only played in the division, limited fans, (for Maritime teams at least - no fans in Quebec), fighting rules are different....

For the Sea Dogs - New Head Coach Greg Gilbert, Five (5) veterans will also wear Sea Dogs blue for the first time when (D) Christopher Inniss, (F) Nicholas Girouard, Benjamin Roode (D), (F) Liam Leonard and (G) Creed Jones play, Rookie forwards Peter Reynolds,Cam MacDonald, Leighton Carruthers, join Defencemen Hunter Gartley and Nathan Drapeau as they play their first Q games.

The Dogs are favoured to do well this season as the core of the team is now in their third year.

Looking forward to tomorrow night and the home opener.

Hopefully the boys come out hard this weekend and get a couple of wins and have a good start to the season. They have to work hard at both ends of the ice and not lose games the way they did last year by getting out worked.
