Lukas was cut today.... not a huge surprise. All along, indications were that he was in tough in camp being behind the older players. Much of the speculation was that he'd have to outperform Barron and Spence (both of whom made the team) in order to secure a spot.
It's a great experience for him and hopefully he's part of the 2022 World Junior team next year.
Great to see PEI native Jordan Spence on the team though. If there is a resumption of the season at some point and some trading happens.... I can think of a great landing spot for Spence!
