I’m surprised Goobie starts as much as he does. Every weekend is a back to back basically, so he will play basically every weekend for the most part I’m sure. |

Got to ride Ellis. Team played good tonight the better team lost for sure. This season could mean nothing, and could be cut short at any point. If you want Goobie to be the future then you can’t sit him on the bench for the 2 most important years of his career...can’t just acquire 20 YO studs every season. |

Nope you can’t but why waste those assets on that 20 year old stud to split duties. Didn’t make sense at the time and still doesent . If they were planning on Goobie splitting the games why not go out and acquire a cheaper 20 year old veteran.

Yeah I see your point, but I guess they’re gambling on completing the season and at the point you ride Ellis down the stretch and into the playoffs. An November game vs a team you just beat 7-1 doesn’t mean much, if you can’t play your 17 year old goalie, when can you play him.. |
