The teams seems to be able to compete in the division, though granted it's not strong this year...
Positives
-Spence has been on a different level than anybody else
-Among FA's Labelle has been a very pleasant surprise, Olson as well
-Pilotte has been the best of the true rookies(16-17)
-Langlois looks to have taken a big step forward
-Cornish has been excellent in nets
Negatives
-Fortier has been hot and cold
-kids who had good camps have started slow, Richard, LeBlanc, Loshing and Cloutier. Hopefully it's just an adjustment period
-Bernier has not been good for a 19 year old
-No Quebec MAAA for the other draft picks sent back to play
Hopefully the trade period is as close to normal as possible. Spence would be a huge chip to speed up the rebuild. Daoust could be another. Dejong could bring back good return. Stewart could be a good bottom 6 guy who can kill penalties and win faceoffs. Fortier is a huge wild card, depending on a potential AHL season.
