Congrats to Colten Ellis on tying the league record for most consecutive wins to start a season.

With all due respect to Welsh, Bibeau, etc...this guy has to be the best goaltender we’ve ever had in Charlottetown, right?

Along with the talent, the way he handles the puck is better than some teams defenders, he’s just so calm out there and always talking to his teammates.

It’s really too bad that we’re in the situation we’re in and that we can’t get 3000 fans in to see him/this team.

I never thought we’d see a better goalie than Matty play for this team for a long time but boy was I wrong. Ellis is unreal, also I agree that if fans could attend games with how the team is playing we would be seeing 3000+ most nights but isn’t that just the teams luck finally have a top end legit team and it’s during a pandemic. Hopefully next year we can all attend again. I wonder if Ellis starts tonight? I was thinking Goobie would get the start tonight but how can you not start Ellis min off a shutout and a chance to break the record.

Skill wise, yes. I agree that he is the best goaltender that we had on our roster.....and even going back to the Rocket days, we have always had pretty solid goaltending......but I feel Ellis is the best we've had.
