The Islanders play host to Halifax tonight. This will be the first contest where season ticket holders will be allowed in the building since the December shut down.
Game time is 7:00.

You Nailed it ….I questioned Eagles Management on that very same thought and they made it sound like they moved mountains to provide us with this obvious Boring Product ….. No Refunds ….No Option of Transferring Tickets to Next Season....a game played is a game played ….no matter who the opponent . At this point I know there are basically no other options but don't try to come across as we are delivering 5 Star Major Junior Hockey …..People know Better . |

You Nailed it ….I questioned Eagles Management on that very same thought and they made it sound like they moved mountains to provide us with this obvious Boring Product ….. No Refunds ….No Option of Transferring Tickets to Next Season....a game played is a game played ….no matter who the opponent . Since then this has not been about making money it's about obligations. Obligations to complete some form of season. Obligation to players who chose the major junior path. Obligations to staff and coaches under contract. Very little spin off and brand building here. It's a process of just existing like as close to dormant without being dormant. Unprecedented times we should be just happy to have a team that can play live games. |

Unprecedented times we should be just happy to have a team that can play live games. .......But those who signed up for and "PAID" their Money for a Season Ticket knew we were only going to see Maritime Teams and we accepted that fact . Perhaps we didn't realize we would be where we are now though ....the two month Shutdown given Covid Developements ....not shocking and we all understood it ....but call me crazy if I thought there would be a 12 game Stretch where I would be going to the Rink asking myself ..Are we playing Charlottetown or Halifax Tonight....It's Either Or ? You speak in terms of Obligations and you are right and I am not questioning that but what I am saying is that after the November Shutdown I wanted to transfer all mt Tickets to Next Year ...No Refund ....Never asked for one .....but was turned down flat because games are being played and from Ownership's perspective the Opponents don't factor into the Equation . |
