Since the restart I feel Goobie has been progressing nicely he will be 18 next season and from all signs next year will be a all in go for it year if everything returns to normal. I wonder if the organization is confident to go with Goobie and acquire a depth backup? I think you give him the first half to prove himself but than the ? Is how much do you spend on a backup? I see on the protected list that American Tommie Aitken is still on the list do you bring him in to be the back up and not waste a asset in a back up knowing every kick will be important to add up front? Our D core will be scary good IMO. But back on track here it’s good to see Goobie starting to play like the goalie they drafted for!

Were you able to find a copy of our protected list?
If so, could you share?

I doubt an American is going to come up just to be the backup.

Especially considering he's with the US National Team Development Program.

IMO, if we’re going all in next year, you’ll see the Isles go with a 1A/1B with Goobie and somebody more experienced that maybe isn’t a clear starter. You need to give Goobie the experience, but also need somebody that could take over if he isn’t playing well.
