The Islanders head into Halifax tonight for a Friday night contest.
Halifax gave us a wake up call earlier this week so hopefully we see a stronger effort in tonight's game.

They better be mad (but smart) going into tonight. Everything was in their favor the other night and they let it slip away.
Nothing wrong with losing every once in a while though, don't want them feeling invincible and complacent.

We've been pretty successful at coming from behind when we've been in trouble vs. Halifax or Cape Breton. Gravel slammed the door on Wednesday night. Despite spending most of the night buzzing around the crease, we had a hard time finding the back of the net.
It's an important wake up call to not fall behind into holes.

The Stewart suspension is stupid. Unfortunate play but it really looks like it was just two players fighting for the puck. At least it was him, and not a guy like Cormier
