That’s the one. It’s a done deal. Just don’t know the price. I wonder what 20 they will move.... Is Francis not a lock to come back? Saint John has wasted assets on goaltending the past 12 months and have yet to make any improvements on the actual problem.... Lemieux is arguably the best returning goalie in the league. But yes, we need a legit top 4 D (preferably a LD) |

That will depend on what the Islanders can piece together and just how bad they want that championship in 2022. They’re in good shape to make another run for it if they can add a couple key pieces, would trading Cormier away be smart? It’s hard to say. Samuel Regis would be a good fit too IMO, but then you’re towing the line with who you don’t keep as a 20 and they just traded for Francis at the deadline, I’d be blown away if they trade Inniss. |

I suppose there is a possibility that Frank turns pro next year. That would be a huge blow to the team. Given his size, it seems unlikely but it's not out of the realm of possibility.

The goaltending merry-go-round was difficult for sure, but in all honesty they needed an experienced goaltender and the only assets they dealt of any consequence through it all were a 3rd and a 4th. It will be nice if we can lock that up from the start this season. |

Sea Dogs will also add Ventsislav Shingarov from Baie-Comeau

I realize this is still only a rumour but Adding another Goaltender. Is this kid considered a Euro? I don't thinks so. Pattenaude hasn't played the best in his time here but he is still young and hasn't had the greatest defense in front of him. Lemieux is arguably the best returning goalie in the league. Not after we get our hands on him. Patenaude is a very good goalie. Emond was a top end guy. They just have Jr A calibre d zone coverage in front of them. Removing the fw we did at Christmas helped a little, but we desperately need someone who can eat 5 on 5 minutes and be decent in his own end. We can't trade Inniss, because we need him, Drapeau and someone else to be part of our top 4. |

Patenaude will also miss some time playing in the World Juniors so good to have three guys available.
