This is it!
The deciding game #5 goes on Tuesday. Momentum has been a big factoring this series. Hopefully we can get it an keep it for game #5.
Game time is 7:30 PM.

Let's go Isles! Win or lose, I just want to see them play hard and leave it all out there

We finally get a good game from Ellis and the offense disappears. Hopefully we have a better team next year.
That turnover by Trudeau to win it for Victo was brutal.

Very good goaltending by Hurtubise and the Tigres really didn't allow any garbage rebounds get to Islander sticks. I think that is the story. I think unfortunately for Charlottetown the 3rd period push on Sunday was probably inspiration for Victoriaville to really be ready for tonight's game with no let down the whole 60 minutes. Disappointing for the Isles.

I thought game 4 felt like the dagger and was somewhat telling. Seeing that game at 5-1 and your top line and top pair all being minus 3/4 it just felt like a moment that had you wondering if that group had only played with the puck all year.
Only mustering 18 shots tonight, including 4 in the third just seemed completely unislanders like. Such a good year ending in such a whimper is pretty shocking. Makes you wonder if the East just wasn’t that good.

Makes you wonder if the East just wasn’t that good. I think you nailed it. Charlottetown had a really good team but they didn't get to play many tough games in the Maritimes Division. They weren't used to be challenged like they should have been during the season and even the playoffs. They had only played three games while Victoriaville had the experience of the Blainville-Boisbriand series. I think it made the difference in the end.

I think Charlottetown would have been a better team if they got to play Bathurst and SJ regularly ... and vice versa.

In hindsight...well it was such a weird year so teams had no idea how it may end but what I think woukd have given Charlottetown the edge for the playoffs a player like Justin Barron. Inject that player into that lineup as a rental and they win.
Only nobody makes that type of deal this year. There is no payoff for winning it this year. It's only for pride. It may be different if there were fans and a bigger prize.

Yeah i'm actually kinda glad as a fan we didnt win it this year
obviously for the players i wished a better result but with so little to go on because of the schedule limitations and stops/starts really have no idea if we truly should have been favored or not. The little bit i watched certainly told me we were not heads and shoulders above Victo that was for sure.... congrats to the Tigres... thanks to the Isles staff and players and enjoy your well earned summer break... good luck to the graduating players and hopefully next year is relatively normal... theoretically we should be strong... will be fun to watch if life gets normalized again

It was a great run. We'll look back on 2020-21 as a memorable season... but hopefully it's a one of a kind season and we never have to deal with something like this again.
Personally I was pretty unattached to the team. I only got to two games and since I don't have Eastlink, I couldn't watch the games on TV. I did my best to keep track of the scores, but it's tough when you aren't able to watch regularly.
But I really enjoyed the playoff run and was able to watch most of the games. This team played their guts out and our leaders each had a tremendous season. You have to acknowledge the resolve that the players showed by making it this far in this marathon season. These guys were basically in work isolation since mid-January and now can get back to spending time with friends and families at home.
Victo has a great team. Beaucage and Element especially were difference makers in the series. Obviously you can't fault our management for not bringing in guys like this at the deadline in this uncertain season. Val-d'Or and Victoriaville should have a great series in the final.
