The Islanders kick off the new season with a visit to Saint John to battle the Memorial Cup hosts. This should be the first game of a great rivalry with the Sea Dogs this season.
Game time is 7:00.

Be curious to see who starts in goal? Also wonder what the line combos look like. Last nights webcast wasn’t available for the season opener in Victo hopefully this one is available tonight and the glitches get fixed soon with the new broadcaster

Good win for the boys can’t wait for the home opener tomorrow. Taking my 2 young sons who are pumped. This will be my 3 year olds first ever game.

I didn't watch the game but it sounded like they played a solid road game. Also pretty excited about the game tomorrow night, it will be nice to see more fans in the building! Hoping they put on a good show

Was impressed by Goobie he made some real good saves when he needed to. Hope he quiets the critics this year everyone keeps saying the Isles need a goalie if they wanna contend i think that part of the lineup is the hardest to judge Goobie has never really been giving the chance and nobody has ever seen Satny play in North America I expect we see him tonight

It's not often that I would refer to an empty net goal as a nice goal, but Simoneau's one of the nicest EN goals I've seen in this league. I didn't think he had a chance. He hardly had any angle but managed to put it in to pretty much seal the victory.
