Another big win great to be back at the rink. I’m impressed with the team. Goobie looks really good but playing the puck is an adventure and he should make take less chances. The team has it all which is nice to see Budgell Guay and Simoneau all were impressive also felt that Oliver and Gallant had real nice games.

Real good game, a great night at the rink.
Goobie played real well, can’t really fault him for either goal as they were both defensive breakdowns.
Simoneau is a treat to watch, he’s gotten pro written all over him…and he could easily play it this year.
Guay is also a stud, doesn’t mind the physicality to go with his offensive touch. Could be a top player next year if he returns. Should put up great numbers this year as well.
All in all, it’s great to be back at the rink. Atmosphere was good tonight, gotta love the Abby horn!

Not many negatives this weekend. Special teams will pick up as players get used to each other.
Goobie looks really confident out there too, and the team played confident in front of him too which wasn't a common theme last year.
Can't really ask for more than a sweep of the Memorial Cup host to open the season.
