For the first time since the 2019-20 season we'll see a Quebec based team come into Charlottetown to play the Islanders. Shawinigan is coming off a win in Cape Breton on Wednesday night and a loss in Halifax last night.
They have some impressive talent up front in Mavrik Bourque and Xavier Bourgault.
Today's article in The Guardian lists Simoneau as day to day, but indicates that the team will be very cautious with his health as he prepares to get back on the ice. I expect he'll be out of the lineup tonight.
Game time is 7:00 PM.

I’m not expecting much that’s the trouble I was fearing this season was depth and when your best forward gets hurt suddenly the lineup looks very bleak for scoring. I’d say Shawinigan wins by 3

Very. 1 goal in 3 games hurt.
