The Sea Dogs face off against the Titan tonight (Wednesday the 20th) before having two (2) games this weekend - Saturday at home against the Wildcats and then in Bathurst on Sunday.
Does Lemieux get the start or keep with Patenaude?

I would expect you to beat Halifax quite easily, since most if not all of Halifax's players will be busy at the Scotiabank Center playing Val d'Or Saturday night.  |

I would expect you to beat Halifax quite easily, since most if not all of Halifax's players will be busy at the Scotiabank Center playing Val d'Or Saturday night. Are we going to have another Classified situation and the Moose not show up again. This time cause they have another game? Come on, send a split squad. |

Well - only 1 linesman in the game tonight. No idea why. Titans open the scoring on the PP. What else is new. Other linesman got injured warming up for the game. Wasn't able to make the game, watched a bit online. Poirier seemed to play a good game. Dufour continues to pad the stats - great pickup. Special teams need some work but good to see them overcome the penalties and come out with the win. FWIW - Calgary placed Glenn Gawdin on waivers, if he clears he will go to Stockton which would presumably bump Francis down to the 4th line. |

We dominated 5 on 5 and the Titan dominated special teams, but the PK finally came up huge late in the 3rd.

We really need someone to play with Reynolds whether it be Francis and/or someone else. After the top line and Reynolds, there are a hand full of guys who are solid 3rd liners who can fill in on the top 6 once in a while if needed. But none are obvious top 6 guys on a contender, at least not yet. Maybe next season or could even develop into it later this season. To have 1 of these guys on the 2nd line is acceptable for now but for Reynolds to have to play with 2 of them every night is pretty rough. We really need to improve that 2nd line and give Reynolds more help.

I was happy with the play of Charlie DesRoches last night. His play with and without the puck was very noticeable.
Currently we are a 1 line team. Dufour is a monster out there and the play of Burns and Lawrence have picked up along with him.
On to Saturday and the Wildcats.

It was nice for the boys to get the win last night. Yeah we definitely need to get Francis back or another high End 20 if he doesn't come back. Maybe if they do Reynolds and or MacDonald will get going offensively.
You would hate to have to split up the Lawrence, Dufour, Burns line wile they are going good. But if they can't get the other lines going they might be forced to.
