Do they really plan to split the time between the two 18yr old netminders....or do they eventually have to make a choice and go with a #1?
Satny has a 6-1 record with 15 goals against giving him a 2.14GAA.
Goobie has a 6-5 record with 30 goals against and a 2.74GAA.
We all know that dealing with Euro players is always unpredictable....and always a gamble....because of this, is Goobie a player that Hulton cannot move....despite, in reality, that he is getting outplayed by Satny...who is the same age?

If it was me Satny would be starting 75% of The games I feel if anything the coaching staff seems to be catering to Goobie a bit too much..

To be clear, I'm not suggesting that they would or should trade Goobie......I'm just questioning/asking that no matter how good Satny continues to develop and play, the fact that he is from Europe does that make Goobie untradeable.?

I feel like they like Goobie too much to make a move…but I guess you just never know with Hulton.
I do think the tides are changing a bit, for the first few weeks of the year, Goobie would get all the tougher matchups…but now it seems like Satny is getting them lately. I.e Goobie v Moncton, Satny v Bathurst this weekend.

Having two capable goaltenders is never a bad situation. I dunno how good either one is because the team in front of them is defensively solid. I don't think i'd be looking to necessarily move Goobie this year but perhaps next season or at the draft to help recoup some picks.
I have only seen each goalie play once to be fair but statistically anyway it does appear as if Satny is settling in and well let's be honest you don't really want to waste a Euro slot on a backup do you?

In junior hockey unlike the pros if you have a really good goalie on a contending team they get 80% of the starts and you don't worry about it because they play mostly all their games significantly between Thurs & Sun. Also if you are a defensively sound team they don't a deluge of shots in back to back games to fatigue. The lack of shots is actually a bigger concern.
Sure a 3 game b2b2b weekend which sometimes happens requires the backup for spot duty.
But when playoffs come that dude is playing every night unless he is injured in which case you won't be winning anyway.
I don't see a need for an upgrade at this position unless it's someone who won before. And the net isn't big enough for two guys who play the same. More play is the way to prepare your top tender in the Q.

I thought heading into the trade period that maybe we would need a upgrade between the pipes if we wanted to contend but the tandem we have is probably as good as we need. I feel Satny is the number 1 though and needs the majority of the starts from here on out

Goaltending still worries me a little bit come playoff time. Will they be able to handle the pressure if they get down by a goal or two. Don't get me wrong both goalies are pretty solid but have no playoff experience. Every year we seem to just be missing one key piece. We either have great goaltending but not enough firepower or strong defense or we have a avg goalie but great up front.

Goobie let’s in too many soft ones, I wouldn’t consider him solid.

Either way it maybe an area that could use an upgrade come playoff time

If we had lots of assets and draft picks sure I’d agree go out and grab a veteran goalie but with our limited picks I think we’re only going to be able to make 2 key acquisitions and right now we need forwards
