The Islanders are up in Quebec for the weekend with the first game of the trip going tonight. We're in Gatineau to face the Olympiques in their fancy new rink (The Centre Slush Puppy....I'm serious!).
Gatineau has already been to Charlottetown and we were able to handle them on home ice earlier this season.
Following this, we're off to Rouyn-Noranda and Val-d'Or for the weekend.
Game time is 8:00 AST.

Centre Slush Puppy is a hilarious name. This should be a bit of a measuring stick game I would think since we are in very similar positions. Hoping it goes better than our Sherbrooke showing.

No surprise that Guay gets us on the board. 16 goals in 16 games I think they said on the radio? Wild.
Plandowski's hit was scary. Good to see the Gatineau player skating off on his own.

Good win for the Isles…really shut it down and just flipped pucks out of the zone whenever we got the lead in the third.
Patty Guay is on an amazing streak…just ridiculous. You can pencil him in for a PP goal every game. Have we ever had a PP this good on the Island?
Goobie played solid between the pipes tonight as well.

He sometimes does that too. It wouldn't surprise me if he passed on the trip up to Rouyn-Noranda and Val-d'Or in order to scout some teams in other cities.
